Students from across our many co-curricular clubs were given the chance to shine before an audience of around 200 on the night, with the event featuring a diverse lineup of ten acts and involved 50 talented pupils.
The show was particularly exciting for Year 6 students who attended in anticipation of joining us in September. They were treated to a range of performances, setting high expectations for their own future involvement.
One of the standout performances was the drama group's rendition of Shakespeare's "As You Like It," showcasing their ability to tackle complex material. The school's Rock Band also delivered two electrifying songs, energising the crowd.
Dance routines were another highlight, with students performing pieces honed over the year and showcased in local competitions. Noteworthy performances included a captivating dance trio and a powerful drum solo by Year 7 students.
For Year 10 actors, dancers, and singers, this showcase marked their final performance opportunity outside of their final GCSE year, adding an extra layer of poignancy and celebration to their acts.
Head of EPA, Ms Lakin, said: "The EPA Showcase was a testament to the hard work and talent of our students, and a really lovely summary of what everyone has achieved this year.
"I would like to thank everyone for a memorable evening and look forward to the many exciting plans we have ahead of us from September."
